Terms of Use
About these terms
These terms of use govern your access to and use of this website, operated by UNKNOWN Communications Ltd (“UNKNOWN”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17267360) with its registered office at 271 St. Albans Road, Hemel Hempstead, England, HP2 4RP. You can contact us at hi@unknowncomms.com.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the website.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you use the website is the version that applies.
Use of the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- use it in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its hosting infrastructure, or any connected system;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material;
- submit false, misleading or third-party personal information through our forms without authority;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or data from the website;
- interfere with the website’s normal operation, including by imposing an unreasonable load on it.
Waitlist and enquiries
Joining the waitlist registers your interest only. It does not create a contract, guarantee access to any product or service, reserve any particular price, or oblige either of us to proceed. Any preferential founding-cohort rates referred to on this website are indicative, limited in availability, and subject to a separate written agreement between you and UNKNOWN.
Submitting a consultancy enquiry similarly creates no contract; any engagement will be governed by its own terms agreed in writing.
Descriptions of forthcoming products and services are statements of current intent. Features, availability, timing and pricing may change or be withdrawn without notice.
Intellectual property
We own (or licence) all intellectual property rights in this website and its content, including text, design, graphics and branding. All rights are reserved.
You may view, download and print pages from the website for your own internal business or personal use. You must not otherwise reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent. Our name and branding must not be used without our permission.
Disclaimer
This website and its content are provided “as is” for general information. They do not constitute professional, marketing, financial or legal advice, and you should not rely on them as such.
While we take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and available, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, and we may suspend, withdraw or change it without notice.
Where this website links to third-party websites or resources, those links are provided for information only. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, their content or availability.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
Subject to that, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and representations relating to this website, and we will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, and even if foreseeable — arising under or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, this website, or reliance on its content. In particular, we will not be liable for loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Privacy and cookies
Our use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies and similar technologies in our Cookie Policy. Both form part of your relationship with us when you use this website.
General
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. A failure by us to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them — except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also rely on the mandatory protections, and bring proceedings in the courts, of your home country.
