Cookie Policy

01

What this policy covers

This policy explains how UNKNOWN Communications Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on this website, and the choices you have. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, store small amounts of information in your browser. Together we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.

In line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the UK GDPR and the EU ePrivacy rules, we only use non-essential cookies with your consent.

02

What we use today

This website currently sets no tracking cookies at all. The only storage and security checks we use are strictly necessary:

NameTypePurposeDuration
uc-cookie-consent Local storage (strictly necessary) Remembers the cookie consent choices you made, so we don’t ask you on every visit and can honour your preferences. Until you clear your browser data or change your preferences
uc-theme Local storage (strictly necessary) Remembers whether you selected the light or dark theme. Until you clear your browser data or change your theme
Cloudflare Turnstile Security check (strictly necessary) Checks whether form submissions are likely to be made by a human and helps block spam. Managed by Cloudflare for fraud and abuse prevention

Strictly necessary storage does not require consent, because the site cannot honour your choices without it.

03

Optional categories

We do not run optional analytics or marketing cookies today.

Your consent choices are recorded now, and will be honoured automatically the moment any such cookies are introduced. We will also update this policy, including the table above, before introducing them.

04

Managing your preferences

If we add optional analytics or marketing cookies later, this policy and the site notice will be updated before they run.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings — including blocking or deleting them. Blocking strictly necessary storage may mean we cannot remember your consent choices between visits.
